FADY FADEL

Professor in Political Science and International Relations

Dean fadel

Presentation

A confrence with fady fadel

An expert in academics and administration for over 16 years, I have dedicated my professional life to the development, educational innovation and international standing of the institutions where I have worked, whether in the Middle East, Europe, the United States or Canada.

I have established my academic leadership legitimacy on my expertise as a university lecturer and researcher. Indeed, in addition to teaching International Relations in three different languages, I have published articles and works with international publishing houses.

Today, I have dedicated my professional life to the management of a prestigious American business school in Paris, The American Business School of Paris, as well as its national and international development in order to further increase its academic drawing power.

“In his capacity as Dean of the American Business School Paris, Fady Fadel is partner of ISA in the true sense of the word. Fady appreciates and gives priority to the needs of the students we serve and their home institutions in the United States. Furthermore, he is a problem solver and always willing to explore ways to improve the academic experience and the outcomes we strive to achieve. He understands the importance of adaptation and collaboration with partners. Form my perspective, this is a crucial quality, given the rapidly evolving the landscape of international education. I must also say that his collegial approach and worldly perspective make it a great pleasure to work with him. These qualities are as important as the strength of his academic expertise and credentials.”

“It has been almost 10 years since I had the pleasure of meeting Fady Fadel in Beirut, at the University Antonine. Invited to give educational training courses to professors from the Language Center, I remember how I was struck by the energy and national and international standing of the University Antonine, thanks to the leadership of Fady Fadel, who, in his role as Chief Administrative Officer and Vice President for International Relations, had created many partnerships with other universities around the world. While I was running the French Program at Middlebury College in the United States, I had the opportunity to regularly invite Fady Fadel as a professor and lecturer to speak about the Middle East and international law. A well-known researcher in his domain and an excellent educator, Fady Fadel has always been much appreciated by his students who flock to his classes and conferences in order to take advantage of his expertise. Now, Dean of The American Business School of Paris, Fady Fadel shows once again not only his great management skills, but his visionary ones as well, according to the numerous international partnerships set up since assuming his position. Lastly, always very generous with his time for his students and colleagues, ready to help and attentive to one’s needs, Fady Fadel is also and, above all, someone I consider a wonderful friend.”

“For a good number of years, I have followed you in your passionate and illuminated commitment, highly elegant and subtle in the unrelenting transmission of your rigorous and articulate knowledge… A distinct background due to your Implication in promoting your noble values and your cheerful application, which gives a lasting impression, of your committed and memorable contribution of hope. With this talent, you are always forging destinies and ambitions without surrendering your own… Creative, you introduce momentum by putting humans at the center of your administrative and educational obligations. The quest for truth always remains your true north. All the while suffering from the cruelties of war and protecting the magnanimity of your Lebanese soul without hindering nostalgia, you have perfectly integrated beyond the Mediterranean and fearlessly crossed the Atlantic Ocean… Nothing human is foreign to you. You have pleaded for an enchanted universalism: You have not deserted a spiritual or humanist richness in order to adopt another. You have bravely launched yourself in the journey for the synergy of universalizing values and the ideals of Liberty. You have remained the tireless champion of diversity in unity and have reconciled the delicacy of the Francophone world with the efficiency of Americanism.”
